The first website I designed and create content for is Creative Maniac. This is the website that heightened my passion for web design. Founded in 2020, Creative Maniac posts entertainment, culture, lifestyle, and wellness content. Other websites that I’ve designed are Jessica Sydney Creations, this ePortfolio, and Space Coast Eats.
The web design process for this website began with searching for the right theme that fit my aesthetic for my brand as well as functionality so the website is easy to navigate for viewers. Once a theme was chosen, I played around with the customization settings like the colors, widgets, blog page and single blog post layouts, etc.
The bulk of the web design process is done during the initial stages of the website. It will be continuous as I will change things from time to time.
For branding and graphic design, I wanted the overall aesthetic to reflect my love for the color turquoise. Naturally, turquoise is a bright color so I made it more muted. The logo has a cursive black font on layered on top.
