Jessica Welner is a freelance writer who specializes in entertainment, culture, lifestyle, and wellness. She’s based in the United States. She prefers being called by her nickname, Jessi.

Jessi’s story begins with finding her passion for storytelling. When she was younger, she adored writing fictional novels. Writing novels taught her that writing has the ability to transport us to alternate realities. 

Her goal is to inform, entertain, and inspire her readers no matter the kind of content she writes about. 

In 2020, Jessi founded creativemaniac.net, an online community where she posts entertainment, culture, lifestyle, and wellness content on a weekly basis. You can find features, reviews of films and TV shows, personal essays, and so much more. Writing content for CreativeManiac.net ignited her passion for writing about entertainment, specifically film, TV, and music.

Jessi’s passion for design has been instilled in her ever since she was a child. She has dabbled in drawing, photography, graphic design, painting, and ceramics. During her adolescence, she became fascinated by graphic design and has been creating digital work since then. 

Jessi stumbled upon Instagram’s fandom editing community in 2017. Editing became a way for me to not only share my creativity with the world but have the ability to connect with my audience and other editors. Over the last 5 years, she’s learned how Instagram’s algorithm works and ways to increase engagement and growth.

Jessi graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of arts degree in Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Mass Media.

You can often find her watching her favorite TV shows, rewatching her favorite comfort films for the millionth time, or finding new songs to add to her Spotify playlist.
