In August of 2020, I discovered the video editing community on Instagram. I knew about this specific community beforehand when I started creating edits for the photo and video-sharing platform in 2017.
I always wanted to dabble in video editing because it looked exciting and it was a different medium for me to experiment with.
I create video edits of films, TV shows, fictional characters, and celebrities.
I take a film, an episode of a TV show, a scene pack of a character, or a scene pack of a celebrity and pick out clips that I like and compile them together with a song playing over the video itself.
I use InShot to create the base so the clips that I pick and the song that I will edit in Video Star (the pitch only) and transfer the base edit to my computer. InShot and Video Star are mobile apps. I will finish the edit on Adobe After Effects on my laptop computer.
